Planting Season

June already. Trying hard to get plants in the ground but the rain has put a damper on that. So far I've had a few days without rain and put some plants in. Forget to plant summer squashes so had to buy a few plants. In between trying to get the new coop ready and plant flowers around the house. My neighbor has let me take control of his garden so this year a big corn patch I hope. Soil is in poor condition so I need to add much organic matter to it. See how it goes and if anything comes up. Never can tell around here. Seeds may rot with all the wet weather.

Corn field I hope. Silver Queen planted.

Cucumbers and yellow squash.

Peppers down to 75 plants this year. Hate to see them go to waste. Chickens will benefit.

Tomato plants, Quite a few between mine and Jenny's.

Coop extension being built between the rain and planting. Thanks to Mark and Fenton for giving me a hand when needed. Hoping to finish real soon.
